CA$600.00

I'm doing an NPO site that needs a WordPress Blog, they only have one database allowed. So that's obvioulsy the WordPress installation.

I know I can work in PHP MyAdmin to create tables etc (or I'd expect) but what about accessing the database directly from my PHP?? Is this possible. I mean I know its normally possible because we use MySQL a fair bit here but what I'm asking is - does WordPress allow me to know my database password??? Mmm sounds silly but I can't seem to find anything...

So of course my PHP can't open it directly from the script. Am currently scouring every doc in the installation but found nothing yet.
