Smooth matte laminate is a premium finish that is great for a classy, elegant feel. It has a similar look to matte, but is very soft and suede-like to the touch. This finish is perfect for cards that have a black or dark coloured background and is great for exclusive invitations and premium services. Smooth matte laminate is also available with Spot UV.
Spot UV illuminates select words or designs so that they reflect and gleam in the light, giving the card a multi-textured look and feel. We only provide our Spot UV services for business cards, and the most premium ones! The cards are thick (16pt) and sturdy, and have a smooth semi gloss texture without shine.
Matte coated cars are subtle and understated – there is a very minimal amount of shine on these cards, although there is a coating present. Matte coated cards are also easy to write on, in case this is something you would like to do.
Semi-gloss business cards are not too glossy and not too dull. They can be written on with a ball point pen a little easier than glossy cards if you plan on taking a few notes. There's just a hint of gloss for those that want a midpoint between Matte and Super Gloss cards.
Super Gloss is a layer of shine that will bring out colours and make your print more durable. The coating is similar to the finish on glossy magazine covers.
The Super Gloss coating will give resistance and durability against water (it will not be water proof, but the extra coating will give more protection than other coatings).
